There's something rather special about the start of the Christmas season in Sheffield, and for the past 14 years, the Christmas Festival of Music has been bringing people together for an evening of wonderful music, festive cheer and unforgettable performances.
This year promises to be another fantastic occasion, and we're delighted to see the event receiving some well-deserved attention across the Yorkshire press!
The Rotherham Advertiser, Sheffield Star and Yorkshire Post have all recently featured the upcoming festival, sharing news of this year's exciting line-up and the return of one of Sheffield's much-loved festive celebrations.
At Norrie Waite & Slater, we're incredibly proud to once again sponsor this wonderful event, taking place at the Octagon Centre, Sheffield, on Sunday 20th December 2026.
Once again, the evening will be hosted by the hugely talented John Reilly and Lewis Nitikman, who have brought together an impressive collection of singers and musicians to celebrate the magic of Christmas.
This year's performers include Paul Pashley, Rachel Raynor, Gareth Lloyd, Unite The Union Brass Band, Chris Firminger, Steve Beighton and members of the Acoustic Angels.
With festive favourites, incredible musical talent and a few surprises along the way, it's shaping up to be a wonderful evening for audiences of all ages.
One of the things we love most about the Christmas Festival of Music is that it brings people together.
It's an opportunity to enjoy fantastic live entertainment, celebrate local talent and share in that special feeling that comes with the festive season.
This year's concert will also support Age UK Sheffield, helping to shine a light on the valuable work the charity does for older people across our city.
Supporting local events and organisations is something we feel strongly about at Norrie Waite & Slater. We're delighted to play a part in helping this much-loved festival continue to flourish.
We're thrilled to see the festival featured in three Yorkshire publications. You can read the full preview and discover more about the performers and what to expect on the night:
