Employment Lawyer Diarmuid Deeney joins Norrie Waite & Slater Solicitors

Sheffield and Rotherham based Norrie Waite & Slater Solicitors welcomes a valuable and high profile new solicitor to its team.

Diarmuid Deeney is a highly regarded employment and civil litigation lawyer who has over 30 years experience in the field, including working in the High Court, the Court of Appeal and international Courts. He advises local and national organisations, and also a number of US and European organisations who do business in the UK. He is dual qualified in Northern Ireland.

Diarmuid has a particular interest in discrimination cases as well as senior executive terminations. He also drafts policies and service agreements for senior executives and advises on redundancy, discrimination and TUPE issues.

Diarmuid is a keen linguist and is conversant in a number of languages including Italian, Spanish, French, and German. In this capacity he has frequently acted as interpreter for clients on overseas business and has appeared in the French Commercial Courts, in the Staatsanwaltschaft in Switzerland, and has handled a number of international arbitrations.
